Abstract
There were a number of requirements necessary, such as full thickness of the alveolar bone, width of keratinized gingiva, appropriate occlusal space for implant prostheses in order to implant placement of dental defect. In this case, apically positioned flap surgery and surgical splint were used in patients with not enough space for implant prosthesis because of bulky free flap volume occurs after oral cancer surgery. Apically positioned flap commonly used in periodontal surgery dentulous areas for removal of periodontal pockets, increase of attached gingiva, esthetic crown expansion. However, in this case was used to solve the bulky free flap volume and inhibit the recurrence. So, we report the results with the literature.
